Senior Legal Counsel (AIFs) - 12 Month Contract

This is a great job for someone who has relevant experience of the Fund Industry with an asset manager, service provider or law firm in Luxembourg.

A bit about the job:

The Senior Legal Counsel will play a key role in providing expert legal support for a portfolio of Investment Funds (primarily AIFs and RAIFs) and their sub‑funds, contributing to product development, ongoing management and strategic initiatives. This role oversees the legal and corporate records of the funds, monitors regulatory developments and proposes effective solutions to address changes. Acting as a primary liaison with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, regulators and service providers, the Senior Legal Counsel will lead on major strategic and regulatory projects affecting both the funds and the management company. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating legal documentation—such as prospectuses, articles of incorporation, supplier agreements and fund-related contracts—along with advising on fund incorporations, liquidations, mergers and other corporate actions. The role also provides transaction support for investments, ensures thorough organization and record‑keeping across Management Company/AIFM boards, General Partners and underlying companies, and manages statutory filings and investor meeting follow‑up. The Senior Legal Counsel will ensure governance approvals are completed, support legal matters relating to the management company and its branches, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Significant experience in UCIs/RAIFs/AIFs

• University Degree, min. Bac+4 in law

• Fluent written and spoken English any additional language is an asset, in particular French or German
