Position Summary

If you love working with data and are excited to help transform healthcare through our Minute Clinic Performance Management team, this role is for you! The Strategy & Analytics Manager will support a team that is motivated by the opportunity to reinvent healthcare and improve health outcomes for our patients while achieving our MinuteClinic financial and operational targets. This role is highly collaborative and will work in a matrixed environment to use the assets of the entire CVS Health Enterprise to develop reporting and analytics that drives our organization and gives our field colleagues and executive leadership the tools they need to make the right business decisions for MinuteClinic.

Day-to-day job responsibilities may include:

  • Design and conducting a complex analysis using large and sometimes messy data sets
  • Developing key data points to guide opportunity evaluation and business case development
  • Using critical thinking to frame business problems, acquire relevant data points, design analytical plans, and provide actionable insights and strategic solutions
  • Brainstorming with your colleagues to build out a creative approach for a new problem
  • Developing a “story” and accompanying presentation that concisely summarizes findings across several initiatives and creates specific recommendations for the leadership team
  • Building dashboards and reports to track the results of a new initiative
  • Working to refine and automate meaningful data so insights can be updated and provided regularly
  • Preparing materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by non-subject matter experts
  • Engaging with internal partners on various projects to support our MinuteClinic growth and profitability goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Can live anywhere in the United States, but need to work either Eastern, or Central Time
  • 3+ years of working knowledge and experience in analyzing large data sets
  • 3+ years of experience with analytics software and tools such as SAS, R, Python, Tableau, SQL, or Power BI
  • 2+ years of working knowledge and experience in visualization tools
  • 2+ years advanced Excel skills (e.g., advanced formulas, conditional formatting, charts, graphs, VBA & macros, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience working with healthcare data
  • Strategic problem solving and/or new product development (e.g., consulting, with a quant focus)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, and with all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in drawing insights, solving problems, and applying analytics resources

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Specialized training and relevant professional qualifications preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.) preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
