This role requires a QA who will implement quality engineering solutions across application. QA will be responsible for implementation of test architecture, frameworks and automation testing. Role requires ability to plan, test, troubleshoot most problems independently. QA will need to apply professional judgment when interpreting data and results and break down information in a systematic and communicable manner.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for functional and regression testing, and all initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing process and product rollout into production
• Perform Data validations for large sets of data and investigate breaks
• Implement and execute automation test framework for backend functional and non-functional testing using Java
• Create Queries in SQL to fetch data from DBs based on required criteria
• Quantify and track automation test coverage
• Identify and highlight ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA operates
• Work in an Agile Environment

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years Quality Assurance experience, with significant exposure to backend testing.
• Proficiency in core Java is required. The candidate should be capable of developing, improving, and comprehending Java frameworks for test automation.
• Familiarity with SQL is required. The candidate should be able to understand queries and construct queries of moderate complexity.

• Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
