About the Role

Assist Team Head to supervise a team in providing sales support and agency administration operation to cope with on-going distribution channel business development within the Sales & Distribution Division

Your role will be pivotal in driving flawless business development and maintaining strict compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for sales support and agency administration, ensuring successful implementation of distribution channel business development in the Sales & Distribution Division.
  • **Ensure Compliance:** Monitor and maintain effective systems and controls for the accurate selection and administration of insurance intermediaries, strictly adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • **Licensing and Registration:** Handle the licensing and registration affairs of insurance intermediaries, manage enquiries and correspondences from regulators, and coordinate CPD and compliance training.
  • **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Liaise with related departments for the preparation and regular review of agent/broker agreements, forms, and correspondences.
  • **Support and Investigation:** Assist the Team Manager in investigating sales-related complaints and addressing audit issues raised by internal and external auditors and regulators.
  • **Reporting and Risk Management:** Participate in various reporting tasks on intermediary management, risk management, and credit review within the Division.
  • **Policy Review:** Perform regular reviews and updates of internal policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and Group standards.
  • **Administrative Support:** Provide administrative support for sales campaign management and participate in special projects as assigned.

Education/Work Experience

  • **Educational Background:** Hold a university degree with related professional qualifications.
  • **Experience Requirements:** Must have at least 4 years' experience in compliance and/or agency administration in the insurance or banking industry. Supervisory experience for a minimum of 2 years is required.
  • **Knowledge of Regulations:** Display understanding of the Insurance Ordinance, Code of Conduct for Licensed Insurance Agents & Brokers, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and other regulations.
