As the Director of Global Omni Planning, you are accountable for both the Global Demand Planning and Omni Planning Operations teams. The Global Demand Planning team is responsible for delivering long-range categorical and product-level forecasts from the long-range horizon through the Go-to-Market process as well as managing total company inventory. Additionally, the Omni Planning team is responsible for the end-to-end Omni demand and fulfillment planning process across brand, region, and channel.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Direct the development of the global demand plan to delivery long-range corporate business objectives across the enterprise and omni channel landscape
  • Partner with the Brand Merchandising, Finance, and Commercial leaders on setting the operational long-range demand plan that influences financial and product strategy and on setting desirable and profitable product assortments
  • Drive inventory efficiency and turn with governance over brand and regional targets
  • Accountable for the global end-to-end Omni Planning demand and fulfillment strategy, functional analytics, and planning application governance within the Blue Yonder suite and driving best practices and continuous improvement across brands, regions, and channels
  • Identify and develop new Demand and Supply Planning capabilities
  • Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
  • Leverage analytics and key performance indicators to inform decision-making and strategy
  • High level of partnership, influence, and visibility with Director and above leaders across Enterprise/Brand/Region Finance, Merchandising, Commercial & Channel, Supply Chain, and Information Technology

  • Development of direct reports, and their teams, in areas of learning and development, coaching, succession planning, training and performance management 
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 20% of the time.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s or applicable certification or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain functional experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in a management/leadership role
  • High-level understanding of Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Planning processes Experience with senior leadership in delivering executive-level summary updates, analytic insights, and presentations
  • Ability to negotiate and influence the opinions and decision making of senior executives and/or other enterprise leaders on matters of significance
  • Ability to create a vision, set priorities, and empower teams to deliver expected outcomes
  • Previous work with other cultures in a business setting, and awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences 

Other/Job Conditions:

  • Job requires hours that may occasionally exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity.  Evening meetings and/or weekend work occasionally required to collaborate with people in other time zones and to ensure timely project completion.  Some job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines.
