Job Description :

Your Job: The Hearing Aid Specialists will meet with patients to learn about their complaints and symptoms, then conduct several tests to measure auditory functions.  You will perform diagnostic procedures which include bone and air conduction tests, as well as a speech audiometry test. Several screening methods are also employed. They include an examination of the ear canal, which entails the use of an otoscope. You will continue to work with patients after they have received assistive listening devices, providing instruction in the use and maintenance of the devices. Your Job Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited program for hearing instrument specialist • Valid State License to dispense hearing aids • Expertise in Cochlear Implants, Hearing aids and FM systems preferred • Knowledge of Sign Language • Texas State License Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly •  Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment •  Be accountable for your performance •  Always look for ways to improve the patient experience •  Take initiative for your professional growth •  Be engaged and eager to build a winning team
