U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer (Fullstack) in Atlanta, GA. Multiple openings.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer (Fullstack) will be deeply involved in solving interesting problems in digital banking & transformation by coming up with designs and architectural choices which have a significant impact on these systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. This position will have an opportunity to influence the technical roadmap and collaborate with Product to deliver exceptional experience to our U.S. Bank customers. Specific job duties include the following:

  • Design and architectural modification of highly scalable and mission critical systems.

  • Writing clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews.

  • Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility in support of the bank's technology transformation.

  • Analyze and optimize UI and back-end application code for efficiency and performance.

  • Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • API development and delivery and working with Java/Java EE and web-based applications and services.

  • Large scale customer facing enterprise Java applications using Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot Frameworks, Java EE Design Patterns, - JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, Ajax, JQuery, Angular, Webservices, REST.

  • Design API (Domain Driven Design) and Microservices architecture/ design /implementation.

  • Performing development using Agile Methodology and SCRUM and the Agile Process TDD (Test Driven Development).

  • Cloud-based deployment using Jenkins and enhanced CI/CD platform with Kubernetes, Istio and Rancher.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology and 5 years of related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) fullstack software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 60 months of experience with each of the following: 1) API development and delivery and working with Java/Java EE and web-based applications and services. 2) Large scale customer facing enterprise Java applications using Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot Frameworks, Java EE Design Patterns, - JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, Ajax, JQuery, Angular, Webservices, REST. 3) Designing API (Domain Driven Design) and Microservices architecture/ design /implementation. 4) Performing development using Agile Methodology and SCRUM and the Agile Process TDD (Test Driven Development). 5) Cloud-based deployment using Jenkins and enhanced CI/CD platform with Kubernetes, Istio and Rancher. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,760- $159,400. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
