Job Description Summary
The East Europe Services Director will lead Services activities for East Europe countries, providing, high Safety culture, strategic and operational leadership to lead the Operations and Maintenance teams and ensure best fleet performance, deliver “best in class” Service experience and improve profitability in East Europe by implementing productivity programs, rigorous performance management and the transformation program.
The role is responsible for defining and executing the all operations of portfolio, including multiple turbine platforms across the GE fleet, creating a safe, sustainable and profitable region with strong operational and performance growth.
Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- As the Service Director, you will be accountable for the overall leadership, customer engagement, negotiations and operational excellence of the sub-region
- Drive and support operational excellence through establishing lean processes and practices into a sustainable operational rigor, creating a strong safety, quality, and lean culture.
- Drive fleet performance and productivity across the region by focusing on root cause problem solving, scheduling and dispatching, deployment of standard work programs and closely monitoring return to service and production metrics.
- Lead a strong service team in the region, ensuring a cohesive, empowered and accountability approach to service delivery and performance.
- Responsible for mitigating and managing company risk within scope of the contract, resolving complex issues through proactive and timely resolution and direct customer negotiation;
- Collaboration with Regional and Global Services teams, partnering to solve issues, manage performance and implement productivity and reliability improvement programs
- Partner with the Commercial team to grow our transactional activities and maximize installed base penetration with a holistic approach to our customer relationships and focus on innovative solutions and customer value added
- Manage the full-Service Business Cost Center at sub-region level, with a strong focus on cost and sub-contractor control, cost visibility and performance management
- Develop the team and talent pipeline to grow the next generation of service leadership

Key requirements:
- Experience managing a P&L and implementing Wind Service strategies in an international environment
- Professional qualification, preferably in a technical discipline
- Significant experience in Field Services and/or Management of a field service team
- Demonstrated customer relationship and contract management experience
- Fluent in English (written & spoken)
- Proven leadership experience, strong sense of accountability, drive, ownership and resiliency
- Ability to work and influence effectively across functions in a matrix organization to make an impact
- Ready for frequent domestic and international business travel
Desired characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Demonstrated knowledge on financial metrics analysis
- Working Knowledge of Services Contracts terms & conditions, financials and technical operations
