What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Architect to lead the architecture strategy for a key product division. This role will define and guide the technology vision, system architecture, and modernization roadmap across both legacy platforms and next-generation products. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business leadership to ensure technology choices align with long-term business goals while enabling scalability, resilience, and innovation.

The position includes leadership and people management responsibilities, overseeing a team of architects.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Technology Organization, defining its long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework for the product division.
• Lead the modernization of legacy systems, transitioning to cloud-native, API-driven, microservices architectures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of architects, technology leads, and engineers.
• Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Provide architecture oversight during design, development, and implementation.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align technology with strategic goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance scalability, security, and customer experience.
• Implement secure software engineering practices and operational governance.
• Drive innovation, modernization, and technology excellence across legacy platforms and next-gen cloud-native solutions.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science / Engineering from a reputed institute (Master’s / MBA preferred).
• Experience: 12–15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or related roles.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with 8+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture, software design, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modernization of legacy systems.
• Experience designing and scaling enterprise-grade products with strong security, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-first strategies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and product stakeholders.
• Recognized as a thought leader in at least one domain through publications, patents, or conference contributions.
