Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in real-time streaming technologies and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge in building high‑performance distributed systems and experience working in complex data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop event-driven and real-time streaming applications using Flink / Java / Kafka.
  • Optimize application performance through JVM tuning and efficient coding practices.
  • Build, deploy, and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Work with caching systems—experience in Redis is preferred.
  • Perform Linux OS configuration, scripting, and automation using Shell scripting.
  • Apply software design patterns and best practices across systems.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams and follow CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed and scalable service environments.

Required Skills

  • Strong coding experience in Java and hands-on experience with Apache Flink and Kafka.
  • Understanding of real-time streaming systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of Cloudera platform engineering (HDFS, Hive, HBase, Impala, etc.).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and container orchestration.
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Redis or similar caching systems.
  • Experience with logs/metrics monitoring in distributed pipelines.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
