Your Impact at Lowe's
Essential Responsibilities:
Identifies trailers to be loaded for shipping and sets up work queue in the warehouse management system for associates to execute; prioritizes trailers based on store demand
Verifies trailers are accurate by reviewing the bill of lading (BOL)
Sets up associates for success; allocates sufficient loads for next day so that associates can start immediately with no delay
Resolves any issues in the warehouse management system regarding outbound shipments
Updates and prints special order sales tickets from system
Manages all vendor cross-dock and special order sales
Complete all requirements needed to plan, assign carrier loads, build loads, and allocate based on demand and need of the facility and stores to support in-stocks

WORK REQUIREMENTS
Work Schedule
Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.

Requirements
Move throughout all areas of the facility with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions. Stand, sit and/or walk continuously with or without reasonable accommodation and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break. Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb (ladders, stairs), balance, and/or crouch daily to accomplish work activities.
Operate powered equipment (e.g., forklift, center rider).
Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Environmental Concerns
Exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, dusty or drafty conditions.
Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level enough to cause marked distraction.
Exposure to shaking objects and equipment.
Exposure to large, stacked product and fast-moving powered equipment. Exposure to varying light levels while transitioning in and out of the building at various times of the work day.
IV. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in distribution center operations and traffic control
• Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe's warehouse management system
