About the Role

The position is responsible in supporting the team in the timely delivery of complete, relevant, accurate and quality financial and investment reports and data for Real Estate entities (PRC, KRC and PPC Group) and other Affiliates to address the requirements of various stakeholders.

  • Support achievement of FS close deadlines of Real Estate (PPC, PRC, KRC, PTMC) and/ Affiliates related reports and information, to address Regional, Local management, statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., Quarterly IFRS templates, etc.) and ensures submission of these reports within the deadline;
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly FS Close activities of Affiliates companies including GL recording and reconciliations (i.e. Balance Sheet Reconciliation).

  • Support the team in preparing year-end audit requirements with close coordination with the external auditors.

  • Financial statement analysis function for RE companies, comprehensive analyses of significant variances or movements..

  • Assist manager in strategic planning exercise for Affiliate companies, preparation of Board materials and explanatory memos for BOD approval

  • Support Real Estate operations requirements for KRC, PRC and PPC Group (acquisition and disposal of properties).

  • Support Tax Office in Tax computations, Tax Assessments and other Tax requirements for RE and/ Affiliates companies.

  • Validate business transactions and obtain management approval on billings/SOA from Suppliers and Creditors before processing request for payment (RFP) or filing in Ariba and monitor cash collections and disbursements.

  • Support other AIA Group initiatives:
    • Business Continuity Management (BCM) Coordinator (prepare and submit Business Impact Analysis [BIA], PoC for testing and if there should be an actual disaster scenario) and
    • Record Coordinator (prepare, submit and update Record Retention Schedule [RRS] to Compliance Department)

  • Support annual internal controls over financial reporting audit by external audit, provision of any requested data on timely manner and resolve any issues raised and noted during the course of the audit;
