Who You’ll Work With

We tell the powerful story of how Corebridge makes it possible for more people and institutions to take action in financial lives – for their own and on behalf of others. Our team designs and executes advertising programs, internal and external communications strategies, and client and prospect engagement programs to showcase who Corebridge is to our customers, distribution partners and employees. Our team oversees brand positioning and strategy, digital and social media, employee and executive communications, media relations, industry research and thought leadership, product marketing, customer regulatory communications, and social impact and sponsorship programming.

About The Role

This role will partner closely with distribution leaders, product teams, and other internal stakeholders to build compelling marketing strategies and digital sales tools, as well as launch recruiting, growth, and incentive programs that help differentiate the company in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Develop and deploy channel-specific marketing plans that support sales goals and strategic business priorities
    • Build and manage product positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies in collaboration with product teams and underwriting
    • Create engaging, multi-layered marketing programs for financial professionals including digital, text, email, social, advertising and in person events.
  • Content Development & Campaigns
    • Drive financial professional engagement and retention by designing and executing interactive content, sales enablement tools and digital advertising campaigns
    • Write and develop marketing materials and promotions including text, social, email, and web platforms
  • Business Development & Growth Initiatives
    • Lead the marketing of sales incentive programs and new strategic initiatives
    • Develop and enhance programs to targeted key account audiences supporting sales objectives
    • Support recruiting and growth initiatives for Life Distribution channels
  • Data-Driven Optimization
    • Regularly review results to fine-tune programs for maximum effectiveness
    • Optimize campaigns using performance data and testing insights; refine strategies based on KPIs, marketing funnel metrics, and engagement rates.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with internal teams (digital, product development, distribution, legal, compliance) to launch coordinated marketing efforts
    • Train and support distribution partners in leveraging marketing tools and programs to grow their business
    • Participate in client and company meetings, including occasional travel as needed

Qualifications & Technical Expertise

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
    • 7+ years of experience in life insurance or financial services marketing preferred
    • Understanding of financial professional behavior and the dynamics of multi-channel distribution
    • Familiarity with life insurance distribution channels and business processes
    • Demonstrated experience creating B2B/B2C content and sales enablement materials across multiple platforms

  • Marketing & Digital Acumen:
    • Proven ability to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and business KPIs.
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand strategy, and audience segmentation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Technical & Creative Skills:
    • Ability to write and edit marketing content with creativity and precision.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, digital content management systems, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Aprimo).

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX, office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
