As a part of a hardworking team of Test Project Managers, you'll be responsible for the delivery of recurring integrated test. In this role, you'll engage with the test planning and execution teams to ensure our stage-level testing supports our verification and validation plans, managing key program metrics including budget, schedule, and resources. You'll also work closely with design leads & other program managers to generate status reports, resource plans, and other key Technical Program Metrics (TPMs).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive plans to implement New Glenn Stage integrated test campaigns.
  • Coordinate with test article owners, design engineers, test engineers, production test engineering, and procurement to ensure all aspects of the tests are performing to plan.
  • Manage key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areas such as: budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, test schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans
  • Identify risk, document, communicate, develop mitigation plans and drive to an acceptable level
  • Communicate status, critical paths, challenges, and recommended solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree or higher in engineering.  
  • >2 years experience in managing complex system development projects within the aerospace, high pressure system or similar safety critical industry.  
  • Prior execution of project(s) to successful completion, on budget and on time, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated developing knowledge and application of project management principles on multi-disciplinary integrated systems, including project planning, integrated master schedule, critical path, change management, and after-action reporting.  
  • Organized self-starter, capable of breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks and concisely presenting project status.  
  • Recognize and act on opportunities; maintain flexibility to adjust as requirements shift or constraints change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) at an intermediate level. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, adapting communication style to suit different audiences. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.  
  • Candidate must be able to successfully apply for badging at a government installation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional and/or Scrum Master
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action
  • Experience with Primavera (P6), MS Project, Confluence, Jira, Tableau, SQL, MySQL, Power Query, Power Pivot
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
