Position Summary...
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a strong background in system deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting to join our InfoSec DLP Engineering team. A successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining back-end systems and client software to support the DLP capability across Walmart. This includes deploying Linux/Windows virtual servers at scale, troubleshooting client operating systems, deploying/troubleshooting client software, and performing intermediate level tasks in networking and coding.

What you'll do...
- Design, deploy and maintain Windows & Linux systems and software at large scale.
- Manage the integration and deployment of DLP products.
- Experience managing enterprise hypervisor platforms; Nutanix AHV experience strongly preferred.
- Troubleshoot operating system issues efficiently and effectively.
- Perform intermediate level automation tasks with python or powershell.
- Ensure optimal system performance through best practice and effective monitoring/alerting.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and advancements.
- Support and operationalize data classification and labeling standards to ensure accurate data identification and effective DLP policy enforcement across enterprise environments.
What you'll bring: - Extensive experience deploying and operating Windows and/or Linux systems at enterprise scale.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, client software, and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience managing virtualized environments, including enterprise hypervisor platforms (Nutanix AHV preferred).
- Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including connectivity, segmentation, and service dependencies.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language to support automation and operational efficiency.
- Hands‑on experience integrating, deploying, or supporting DLP and/or CASB technologies in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting data classification and/or labeling solutions that enable effective DLP policy enforcement.
- Ability to apply best practices for system performance, monitoring, and alerting in large‑scale environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with security, platform, and operations teams.
- A security‑first mindset with the ability to stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
