Position Summary...

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you'll do:

This is a vital role with significant growth prospects. You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organization goals. Some of this role key responsibilities are but not limited to

  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and performance.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Communicate project status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Responsible for Agile Project Management Methodologies and practices
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

  

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in software delivery within a related industry
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Experienced in distributed system/platform design concepts, architecture, UX design, services, APIs, and technologies.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide project teams towards successful project completion.
  • Ability to conduct technical reviews and analysis
  • Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.  
  • Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies.  
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.  
  • Knowledge on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure  
  • Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology
