The IT Cyber Risk Management Analyst is accountable and responsible for the maintenance and day to day operations of Baxter’s IT Security and Awareness foundations course and routine content creation. The Analyst will support maintaining IT Awareness content that reflects the objectives and minimum security standards as dictated by the Chief Information Security Officer 

 

What you'll be doing

The primary purpose of this role responsibility includes modification, addition and maintaining the Education and Awareness course materials and routine content creation. 

  • Maintain and build an effective and comprehensive IT Security training course 

  • Has a good understanding of IT Security controls and industry standard frameworks (NIST, ISO, COBIT, etc.) and can interpret the requirements and requests raised by stakeholders that then get incorporated into the awareness catalog and course materials on an annual basis.  

  • Analyzes and interprets complex information security threats, its relationship to user behavior and business requirements, and draws conclusions that can then be shared to both technical and non-technical teams to support improvement in security awareness and cyber-aware behavior 

  • Supports IT Security and Enterprise Data governance measures/policies where needed. 

  • On a day-to-day basis implements changes to the awareness materials and cybersecurity Sharepoint site and yammer feeds based on current events and relevant risks. 

  • Actively participates in the Information Security Governance process and phishing campaigns.  

  • Familiarity of user behavior and communication programs to effectively reach global business teams.  

  • Familiarity with complex IT environments with factual and theoretical knowledge to identify and retrieve information. 

  • Strong fundamentals in information security  

  • Strong communication skills and visual development to create engaging materials that are readily accessible by global users.  

 

What you'll bring  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required. 

  • Overall experience required: 3-6 years Information Security or Communications  

  • Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize work. 

  • Must be a self-motivator and collaborator. 

  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and keeping up with latest technologies. 

  • Must be willing to work on a distributed team and global timings. 

  • Self-directed individual capable of working with minimal supervision. 

  • Show a dedication to learning, taking initiative, and welcome feedback. 

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
