The opportunity:

AIA has an opportunity for a Senior Remediation Manager where you will be a key contributor to life insurance remediation activities within the broader L1 risk and compliance team. You will work with key stakeholders to scope, define and execute complex remediations in a timely manner in line with program methodology.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on the scope of life remediation programs including design of remediation methodology and execution in line with requirements under RG277.
  • Analyse and specify business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the delivery of system solutions to ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Collaborate across business, technology teams and operational support functions to implement agreed changes to work practices, processes, and systems.
  • Analysis of complex data sets to validate impacts and appropriateness of methodology.
  • Write high-quality remediation plans and customer communication strategies in line with due diligence standards.
  • Manage the end to end remediation project plan in line with business scheduling.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience working on remediation programs within the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience with Life Insurance & Superannuation operations and products
  • Strong data analysis skills which include the ability to translate requirements ensuring they are clear and concise, continually refined with appropriate acceptance criteria and are well understood by the business and project teams.
  • Strong personal leadership and a great communicator particularly in regard to presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in an agile environment
