About the job:
- Manage the daily operations of OSATs, formulate and implement efficient production to ensure good OTD, delivery and output.
- Monitor OSAT capacity to support mass production.
- Assess and qualify new suppliers or dual source suppliers according to business needs and strategy.
- Facilitate problem solving on process technical activities, handle MRB issues, and support customer quality debug in cooperation with OSAT.
- Plan, execute and lead OSAT PCN projects from initiation to completion, mitigate risks and address issues promptly to ensure successful delivery. Projects include materials, assembly process and site transfer.
- Drive successful new product launches in OSATs, ensure new devices pass qualification and release on-time & on-quality.
- Collaborate with planning team on cycle count audit and process cycle count gap analysis.
- Manage consigned equipment and tooling located in OSAT.
- Coach and supervise junior engineers to continuously improve performance.
- Manage unique material or tooling, arrange expired material buyback according to budget plan.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials or related.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor assembly house, including outsourcing engineer, assembly process engineer, SQE or PE engineer. Strong knowledge of assembly process and key parameters of process control.
- At least 2+ years of project management experience.
- Fluent English in writing and speaking, able to host meetings with relevant parties.
- Strong communication skills, familiar with process simulation software and data-statistical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with standards and quality control systems (ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA) and related tools (PPAP/APQP/SPC/FMEA).
