The WBS Deployment Manager is a key leader in driving successful WBS project implementations from planning to go-live and stabilization. This role requires strong leadership in supporting on-site deployment teams, coordinating stakeholders, and overseeing technical aspects of the projects. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets, facilitating end-user training, and managing team logistics to deliver WBS solutions that meet business requirements.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Safety First & Quality Always: Be a champion of Safety and Quality in all that we do, including project endeavors. Ensure the quality of project deliverables, validate that the SAP system meets business requirements and complies with relevant standards, and proactively identify and escalate potential issues even if they fall outside the immediate scope of work.

Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans along with tollgates clearly defining scope, resources, and deliverables for WBS implementations.

Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead and mentor your deployment leads, manage relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and consultants, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including presenting to executive leadership.

Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and integration of various SAP modules (i.e., ECC, EWM, and S/4HANA) with existing systems and processes, including peripheral technologies and related integrations.

Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments in collaboration with operations leadership and on-floor end-users to identify potential project risks and issues, ensuring that mitigation strategies are practical, effective, and aligned with real-world operational needs.

Change Management: Conduct gap analyses to identify differences between legacy processes and new processes required. Develop and execute strategies that ensure successful user adoption and minimize resistance.

Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively, prioritizing both project deliverables and a sustainable work-life balance for yourself and your team. Monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.

Hypercare & Post-Implementation Review: Provide on-site hypercare support during the transition to production and conduct post-implementation reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Travel & Cutover Support: Expect approximately 50% travel, including weekend support during cutover activities and off-hour hypercare availability to ensure successful business go-lives.

What you will bring:

7+ years of experience in SAP implementation, project management, team leadership, and change management, ideally within a manufacturing or CPG environment.
