In this role you will support the Hospital Relations Manager by onboarding providers and addressing inquiries. You will also collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and identify best practices.

Compensation Range:$30.71 - $38.41 Hourly

What You Will Do

  • Support the Hospital Relations Manager by onboarding providers and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and identify best practices.
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers, team members, and management while ensuring a high level of service.
  • Manage revenue cycle processes and understand reimbursement policies (DRG, APG).
  • Tackle escalated issues within hospital systems with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Engage in fieldwork as necessary while primarily working in a hybrid setting (home or office).
  • Manages all provider contracts in designated territory, including recruitment, credentialing, recredentialing and relationship maintenance through regular visits and ongoing contact with existing and potential providers.
  • Prepares materials for and orient providers to contract terms and operating requirements, Health Plan program and eligibility requirements, and service coordination.
  • Collaborates with the Network Development and Contracting and Service Operations departments to administer demographic changes and renewals to provider contracts.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Driver's license required


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a health care setting required


Work Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and presentations.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management and familiarity with hospital systems required
  • Reliable transportation to work sites required
  • Minimum three years health care experience required
  • Knowledge of government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience in hospital relations required
