Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems related to SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, resolving issues, and providing support to ensure smooth functioning of the system.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to configuration, customization, and integration with other modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to critical business systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and integrations, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for reference.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, including testing and validation of changes, to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including creating and delivering training materials, to ensure effective use of the system and minimize user errors.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience in other SAP modules such as Material Management (MM) and Finance and Controlling (FICO).
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including business processes and best practices.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Experience in participating in system upgrades and enhancements, including testing and validation of changes.
- Experience in providing training and support to end-users, including creating and delivering training materials.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
