Periop Turnover Assistants Make It Possible

Non-Certified Periop Turnover Assistant – Full Time - Evening

Join our high-profile perioperative team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of ambulatory care surgical procedures. As a periop turnover assistant you will insure availability of instruments and supplies during perioperative, preprocedure and preoperative and peri-procedure periods and assist nursing staff with patient and room preparation.

This is a Full Time Evening position (36.25hrs/wk) at NYP/Queens.

Preferred Criteria 

• Prior experience in healthcare

• Prior experience in housekeeping

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED

• IAHCSMM certification required or upon starting must be certified within 18 month period and complete 400 voluntary hours in central service department
