Job Details:

Mercer University is searching for a Director of Compliance for Athletics.


 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring and education in matters concerning Mercer's compliance with NCAA, conference and institutional rules.  Will also be responsible for internal matters relating to administrative policy, game contracts, facility usage and other activities by outside entities.  This person will also serve as a liaison on campus to ensure compliance with NCAA rules.  Will serve as the liaison and contact for institution compliance software program.  Responsible for preparing NLI and scholarship papers.  This position will also directly supervise the Sports Information department.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and two years of related experience in NCAA compliance at a university or conference office are required.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's insurance carrier.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of NCAA, conference, and institutional rules.

  • Prior experience with compliance software.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to problem solve and analyze situations critically.
