The Sales and Marketing Production Manager provides strategic and tactical support for the Travel + Leisure Event Sales and Marketing team. This role is focused on enabling the Event Marketing, Event Operations, and Package Sales teams to execute their objectives by delivering innovative tools, processes, and insights that enhance operational efficiency and guest engagement across 30+ event markets nationwide. In addition, this role is responsible for tracking all event-related expenses and collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate accruals, expense tracking, and forecasting. After each event concludes, the manager updates actuals and analyzes profitability by event, providing insights that inform future planning and performance optimization.
How You'll Shine
Event Sales and Marketing Support
Leverages multiple tools, platforms, and resources to provide strategic support to internal teams, including Event Marketing, Event Operations, and Package Sales. This includes using performance models and actionable data to forecast needs and guide operations. Collaborates across teams to deliver marketing tools, branded collateral, and process improvements. Provides consultative guidance on trends to maximize efficiency and impact. (30%)
Operational Analysis
Utilizes approved data sources to interpret trends and identify opportunities across event sales and marketing functions. Works closely with team leaders to translate strategic insights into actionable tactics that drive results. Oversee invoice processing and tracks event-related costs across markets. Provides strategic insight into cost per event, evaluates the success of different event types, and identifies opportunities for cost optimization. Analyzes venue usage across markets and recommends opportunities for multi-market or national contracts to streamline expenses and improve operational consistency. (25%)
Technology Liaison for Event Sales and Marketing Needs
Communicates business requirements to IT partners, supports requirement gathering, and leads User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for tools and platforms used by the Event Sales and Marketing teams. Ensures alignment between technology solutions and field needs. (20%)
Performance Monitoring
Measures the effectiveness of event fulfillment processes, marketing programs, and sales initiatives. Provides data-driven recommendations to improve performance and guest experience. (20%)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partners with other departments such as HR, FP&A, and corporate promotions to support the execution of Travel + Leisure Event Sales and Marketing objectives. (10%)
