Responsibilities 

• Work directly with owner to constantly improve public bidding process and program.  

• Evaluate IFB's, ITB's, RFQ's and RFP's and make recommendation on what opportunities we should pursue. 

• Aggressively and accurately cost our projects to keep costs as competitive as possible. 

• Communicate with qualified subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing. 

• Evaluate sequence of work and scope of work to ensure costing and production are accurate. 

• Work with InEight to create proposals. 

• Work with in house BD and Marketing team to evaluate and pursue public civil opportunities. 

• Evaluate results of opportunities to obtain information in making future decisions. 

• Attend pre-bid meetings and submit questions to owner. 

• Work with Operations team members to determine production rates for tasks. 

• Hand off awarded projects to Operations team. 

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

• 3 years civil estimating experience. 

• Strong attention to detail. 

• Basic math skills with understanding of material types used & labor/equipment resources.  

• Familiarity with Bluebeam and/or Excel. 

• InEight software experience preferred but not required.
