About the Role
This role plays a critical part in Technology Division and AIA Bhd. as a whole as the person is expected to effectively manage and optimize relationships with external vendors, ensuring they deliver quality goods or services, meet contractual obligations, and align with the organization's strategic goals while minimizing risks and costs.Job Responsibilities:
Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or business administration.
Between 5 to 7 years’ working experience in IT Vendor Management position.
A solid understanding of IT systems, software, hardware, and cloud technologies.
Experience in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendor performance.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills are vital for securing favorable terms and conditions.
The ability to analyze vendor performance data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to vendor performance, contracts, and compliance.
Understanding and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships and contracts.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and processes can be beneficial.
