What you will do
As a Country Leader, Thailand the primary responsibility for this role is to be responsible for the business performance at country level, achieve profitability objectives and delivers plan while sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction and grow their business in line with the Regional Business strategies.
How you will do it
- Serves as an active member of the Southeast asia leadership team including providing area specific performance information in an accurate and timely fashion, and working with and supporting other leaders to share resources and approaches as needed to maximize revenues and profitability (sharing success approaches, problem-solving, coaching and mentoring).
- Senior leadership in a cross-functional matrixed organization to achieve overall organizational goals
- Under general direction, leads, develops and coaches the country operational, sales and functional management team to deliver the business plan (orders, revenue, executed margin, EBIT & trade working capital).
- Drives implementation of the LOB strategic direction within dedicated geographical area.
- Translating Strategic priorities into results and driving operational discipline; and aligning communication with in-country leadership team to deliver the commitments.
- Drives and builds the high-performance culture across functional leadership team; and leading with One-team mindset.
- Manages Country assets across the branches (people, financial, material) in a manner that meets or exceeds profitability goals. Ensures the implementation and execution of all key business processes and tools and manages cross business area efficiency improvements.
- Develops and ensures high performing local leadership. Maximizes performance through quality staffing, performance management, coaching, development and succession planning of Branch managers.
- Builds key relationships with owners, contractors, consultants and maintains key accounts relationships.
- Grows the business by setting and managing an overall country sales strategy. Builds a climate of Sales Excellence, characterized by a highly professional sales force across the branches, capable to build a high quality sales pipeline and accurate forecasting and working together on cross-selling opportunities.
- Oversees Country financial management following the policies and standards of JCI and with a stewardship that creates long-term viability for the country.
- Establishes collaborative relationships across the countries in Southeast Asia and wider regional Johnson Controls business in order to maximize financial performance, provide quality customer service, and take advantage of successful practices used by high performing organizations.
- Acts as a legal manager of the country business entities, as well as country representative towards employee representative bodies. Represents the company and its values in its relationship with major customers, suppliers, commercial and investment groups, professional bodies and authorities and established bodies of employee representation (unions, works councils, EHS council)
- Any other duties as arranged by the supervisor.
What we look for
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10 Years+ experience, with prior experience in growing market share, maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Proven background in providing significant contribution for defining the local strategic direction based on the overall business strategy.
- Ability to lead the daily operations of a country or LOB within a country as defined by size of P&L responsibility.
