Micron Technology is looking for a Business Planning Manager to lead the revenue planning of product segments in CPG (Commercial Products Group) based in Meridian, ID! This role is will be supporting both consumer and enterprise end markets across our SSD and DRAM retail and channel offerings. In this role, you will join a small team that oversees the demand and provides direction for execution, setting in motion the vital manufacturing priorities within the larger $25B worth of Micron annual revenue. Additionally, you will supervise the performance of your segment and guide decisions to achieve our goals with a helpful supporting cast around you in a convivial environment. Become a Memory Maker!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product line managers and market intelligence teams to build short and long-term unconstrained demand forecasts.

  • Build a revenue forecast in cooperation with pricing to help achieve the organization’s growth goals.

  • Track product roadmaps and supply chain issues to optimize around feasibility and then drive consensus with executives and cross-functional teams on an executable target.

  • Drive allocation decisions through profit optimization and customer stratification.

  • Track/Analyze Market Conditions

  • Investigate and report on product and market trends (TAM, SAM), as well as competitor benchmarks of technology and market share.

  • Project supply or demand elasticity by partnering with the pricing team and following industry supply trends.

  • Optimization/Integration of Data and Reporting Environments

  • Build metrics and dashboards around our supply/demand models to help our customers make better decisions.

  • Partner with IT to integrate systems and improve reporting capabilities, while influencing partners to adopt the best data practices.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in business (MBA), Engineering or related fields plus 3 or more years’ experience in business strategy, product marketing, demand planning or financial planning & analysis.

  • Semiconductor or consumer electronic background preferred.

  • Communication: Adept at PowerPoint, comfortable presenting to large teams and executives, tailoring messages to fit the audience.

  • Collaboration and Facilitation: Leads without authority, collaborates through an inclusive approach across geographic and organizational cultures to achieve mutual success for the company.

  • Takes Initiative: Comfortable seeking help, meeting new people, pushing boundaries, leading change, passion for knowledge/learning.

  • Organized and Analytical: Detail oriented, expert data aggregator and transformer who simplifies complexities and documents assumptions, robust command of Excel (PowerBI experience a plus).
