Job Description:

As an Area Material Create Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading a multi-national material create team in Asia that supports material creation and extension for the TEBG divisions
• Implements the use of the material create system, Global MCE, and standard processes to meet material need by dates, improve lead times, and ensure data quality. 
• Determines priorities, project assignments, improvement projects, and optimizes the material create and extend process.
• Develops the team’s abilities and skills through coaching, goals, tracking key metrics, and career development.
• Works closely with division business teams to develop support plans for high-priority businesses and projects.

Preferred Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• University degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
• Minimum of four (4) years work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, or Master Data Management.
• Minimum of three (2) years of Supervisory experience
• Prior project management experience leading medium to large projects.
• Business level fluency in English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in supervising multi-national teams
• History of leading global, multi-functional teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly while adapting to changing timelines and requirements.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar expertise, certification, and or training.
• Experience with data management systems (for example, SAP)
