Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager - LBP

Work Location: Mumbai HO

Function: B&W, Marketing

Role Summary
The role is responsible for owning and delivering business targets across eCommerce and offline channels, managing the end-to-end growth agenda. This includes setting channel inputs, tracking performance, optimizing ROI, and making timely pivots based on data and market signals. The individual will operate with a startup mindset, demonstrating high ownership, speed, and rigour in execution.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Business Ownership & Growth

  • Own end-to-end business delivery across eCommerce and offline channels, with clear accountability for revenue, offtakes, and ROI.
  • Translate annual and quarterly business targets into channel-wise plans, inputs, and execution roadmaps.
  • Identify growth opportunities and risks early, and course-correct in real time through data-led pivots.
  • Work closely with CSPs and platform partners to drive day-to-day eCommerce performance, ensuring delivery against business KPIs.
  • Lead ongoing optimisation across assortment, visibility levers, media inputs, and promotions to maximise conversion and offtake.
  • Act as the single point of ownership for eCommerce business health and execution excellence.

II. Media, Performance & ROI Optimisation

  • Closely track on-platform and off-platform media inputs daily and correlate them with offtakes and business outcomes.
  • Build a strong understanding of media sales linkages, using performance data to optimise spends and improve ROI continuously.
  • Drive agile decision-making by identifying what’s working, what’s not, and pivoting quickly.

III. Business Cases & Network Planning

  • Independently build and evaluate business cases for new initiatives, launches, channel bets, and scale-up opportunities.
  • Own network and distribution planning, ensuring the right coverage, availability, and scale across priority channels and partners.

Ways of Working

  • Operate with a startup-like mindset: high ownership, bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to get things done with limited hand-holding.
  • Bring strong rigour and discipline to planning, tracking, and execution—ensuring follow-through and measurable impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with media, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to unblock issues and accelerate growth.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistent delivery of business targets across channels
  • Clear ROI improvement through smart media and channel pivots
  • Strong eCommerce fundamentals and day-to-day operational excellence
  • Proactive identification of growth levers, backed by solid business cases
  • High ownership, speed, and reliability in execution
