About the role
The role supports the Disney Consumer Products (DCP) team in managing product approvals, coordinating creative projects, and contributing to the development of Disney, Marvel, and Lucas-branded merchandise. The intern will play a key role in ensuring creative excellence and brand consistency across various product categories.
What will you do
- Learn and support the end-to-end product approval process, ensuring timely and accurate feedback to licensees.
- Liaise with internal teams (commercial, franchise, reviewers) to gather and share key information for product development.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Disney/Marvel/Lucas storytelling and apply it to product design where relevant.
- Manage product samples and approvals from concept to production across hardlines categories.
- Support daily operations of the DCP team by anticipating needs and sharing relevant information.
- Compile product catalogues by franchise and category.
- Prepare presentations in line with brand guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate the product approval process clearly to new accounts.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis of monthly visual reports.
- Gain exposure to licensee management and attend meetings with DCP Managers.
- Contribute to creative projects such as brainstorms, trend boards, and consumer insight research.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events to showcase product development to key accounts.

What will you bring
Essential:
- Currently studying Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field at university.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); InDesign is a plus.
- Ability to work full-time during the academic year.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, positive, and flexible approach to tasks.
- Some familiarity with Keynote and Excel.
Preferred:
- Passion for product creation and development.
- Enthusiasm for the Disney brand and storytelling.
