Leidos Defense Systems Sector has an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst, Lead to support manufacturing program in the Sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial aspects of programs. As a key member of the program team, you will work directly with the finance manager to help define program financial goals and objectives; create and maintain program budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.
100% telecommute with travel.
Additional Responsibilities:
Partner with program team to support preparation of financial forecasts, reports and analysis.
Develop and drive financial forecasts, EACs; Manage subcontractor and analyzing the programs revenue and costs.
Help Project Managers identify programmatic risk and opportunities that will impact program financials while recommending cost reductions and ways to mitigating risk.
Support financial performance of the program to include the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly/Quarterly forecast and FP&A activities.
Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses
Cash management to Inventory analysis as well as timely submittal of invoices, collections and unbilled reduction.
Support Deliverables: Estimate at Completion (EACs), Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSR), monthly and quarterly business reviews (IPR), AOP and Quarterly Forecast.
Internal financial activities such as invoicing support, accruals, and program financial revenue projections and variance analysis
Support ad-hoc cost reporting and performance analysis as requested
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 4 years related experience or 2+ years with MS degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
Ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.
Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Cost Point, Insight, OAC, Cognos and Fusion.
Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Excel, Power Point and Power BI.
