Amteck LLC is currently hiring a Project Coordinator to join our team at our Greenville, SC office. The Project Coordinator mainly provides support to the project managers on new construction sites and service projects as well as supporting other types of projects as needed. Project billing and administrative support for project managers as well as handling all contracts with subcontractors and general contractors where needed. 

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with invoices and billing for job site projects as well as service 
  • Communicating with vendors and contractors about any issues that arise from accounts payable or receivable
  • Processing project contracts and making necessary changes and updates
  • Maintaining appropriate records, files, databases and documentation electronically and with hard copies as needed 
  • Working independently to perform advanced, diversified and complex administrative duties 
  • Providing a high level of customer service 
  • Assisting in any project related work that is needed 
  • Faxing, filing, scanning and other clerical duties 
  • Developing queries; generating and distributing reports

Position requirements include but are not limited to: 

  • 2+ years of working experience with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Proven work experience in accounting or related field preferably in construction or a related industry - NON NEGOTIABLE
  • Knowledge of AIA billings, lien waiver processing, contract billings, and T&M billings 
  • Needs to have a working knowledge of sales tax and ability to keep that organized via spreadsheet
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organization levels, including senior management
  • Previous experience supporting project managers and dealing with contracts, suppliers, and subcontractors preferred 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality 
  • Excellent communication skills and professional personal presentation
  • Demonstrated aptitude of organizing, planning and customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure to meet strict deadlines
