Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA!
The Commercial Lines Account Manager position serves as the primary service contact for the client. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will actively manage an assigned book of business, providing day-to-day services including but not limited to renewal and marketing coordination, billing, endorsements, and issuance of appropriate documentation. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will report directly to the Commercial Lines Team Leader.
How You Will Contribute:
Service and maintain an assigned book of small commercial accounts (under $5K revenue)
Provide responsive and professional customer service support for small commercial clients
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
Collaborate with Producers and Marketing to achieve goals for new and renewal business within the small commercial segment
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal team members
Review, analyze, and resolve policy and coverage-related concerns for small commercial clients
Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines
Prepare proposals, summaries, and other client-facing documents as requested
Actively represent Brown & Brown’s commitment to community and client service through participation in social, civic, and trade organizations
Licenses and Certifications:
Property & Casualty insurance license Required
Designations preferred (CIC, CISR)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
2-5+ year of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in commercial lines insurance (minimum requirement)
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strategic thinker with ability to act tactically and strong insight into customer needs/wants.
Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service.
Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
ImageRight & AMS experience preferred
Ability to manage a high volume of accounts efficiently
Proficiency in insurance systems and technology tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range
$55,000 - $75,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
