Job Description

As a PLM Solution Developer at JCI, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of PLM processes, software development skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to deliver effective solutions.

How you will do it:

  • Design, develop, and deploy PLM solutions to support product lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that the solutions meet business needs.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python to build robust applications within the PLM environment.
  • Implement data integration strategies to connect PLM systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed PLM solutions, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of PLM processes and tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to PLM.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, particularly in PLM environments.
  • Strong proficiency in PLM tools such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
