Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to join our Global Product Engineering (GPE) - InSight team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the backend engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance Java-based enterprise applications.
As a technical leader within the InSight team, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, driving architecture modernization and mentoring a team of engineers to deliver exceptional data center and information management solutions.
In this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications, establishing coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions while managing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) through Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards by driving initiatives related to cloud migration, microservices adoption, and performance optimization, while troubleshooting complex technical issues in production environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
10–15 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security), Java-based enterprise development, and hands-on experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA.
Proven ability in architecture modernization and cloud infrastructure, including experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
A Bachelor of Engineering (BE), M-Tech, or MCA from an accredited or recognized university.
