YOUR NEW ROLE

• Serve as the primary liaison between the IT and business end-users,articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery, elaboration and decomposition of themes to epics, solution options, do ability and sequencing
• Work with the business & PO to analyze business requirements and produce documented and approved specifications for any new or change to technology applications  and/or business processes,maximize the Value being delivered by ensuring all features are aligned to business value. Outline the requirements to develop the solutions while supporting developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers in understanding the requirements, so they can deliver on their commitments.

• Implementation of prioritised change outcomes aligned to domains and achievement of associated KPI’s.
• Customer and Stakeholder are at the centre of all analysis.
• Maintain an understanding of Best practices within own specialist area, and IT in general by continually seeking out relevant industry and technical knowledge.
• Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.
• Improve on professional skills by completing necessary development activities.
• Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date.
• Take reasonable care for own health & safety, as well as that of others.
• Conform with all internal operating procedures relevant to the position performance management, and identification of training and development needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• A genuine interest and passion for technology, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn and self-develop
• Highly Customer focused - Develops and maintains a broad perspective; understands and considers issues from , customer point of view, and business strategies
• Good experience in Banking and Financial Services domain esp. in Business Lending domain.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple issues and stakeholders, while working in a dynamic, cross functional and collaborative team environment
• Good experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with HCD techniques.
• Ability to with key stakeholders and teams on product vision, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints
• 12+ years of previous experience as a Business Analyst
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Qualification Requirements

Tertiary qualification in technology related degree
