Agropur is looking for a Plant Operations Analyst with a passion for manufacturing finance to join its Beauceville team.
The Plant Operations Analyst role is an excellent entry point to develop your skills at the heart of operations. This position is intended for an early- to mid‑career profile who wishes to build expertise in manufacturing finance and progress toward a plant controller role in the medium term.

What this role involves:
More specifically, the responsibilities of the Plant Operations Analyst:
Participate in the calculation of milk payments and produce periodic analyses of material yields as well as performance indicators (KPIs), under the supervision of the Controller.
Support month-end close activities for the plant (volumes, labor, manufacturing expenses, variances), in collaboration with the Controller, Plant Analyst, and Clerk.
Contribute to the development of the plant’s manufacturing budget and financial forecasts by supporting analyses and the collection of operational data.
Participate in the calculation and monitoring of plant costs (variable costs and fixed overhead) and assist with performance variance analysis.
Support the plant management team in monitoring operational and financial KPIs to identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction.
Produce financial analyses, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate on projects aimed at optimizing financial and operational processes, including improvements to tracking tools and analytical methods.
Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and existing internal controls.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a manufacturing environment (internships included).
Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written, is an asset.
Strong interest in manufacturing finance and career development toward a Controller role.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial and operational data.
Ability to work with large volumes of data and produce structured analyses.
Ability to learn quickly and evolve in a dynamic operational environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with operational partners.
Growing autonomy, while knowing when to seek appropriate guidance.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.
Intermediate mathematical skills (analysis, comparisons, variance analysis, basic statistics).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of financial tools or ERP systems (an asset).
