Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for an Aftermarket Field Sales Representative (Engineer) in the Southeast region to join our team.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Exceed annual aftermarket parts & service revenue growth objectives, while maintaining gross margin, through aggressive business strategy combining in-person meetings, telemarketing strategies and e-commerce marketing initiatives
  • Establish and develop long term relationships with key personnel of national, large regional and small customers, assuring the aftermarket parts and service growth at each organization.
  • In coordination with the Aftermarket Sales Manager implement annual aftermarkets parts & service pricing strategies focused on revenue growth and profitability with each of our customers within the Americas
  • Participate in the development of annual Business Plan Proposals with large Regional and National Customers
  • Develop excellent product and application knowledge of Milacron and competitive equipment.
  • Effectively communicates and works cross-functionally with Field Sales, Service and Product Support teams.
  • Utilization of Sales Force.com (CRM) including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecast projections, assuring we are completely prepared to effectively support customers demand and execute business growth objectives.
  • Continually monitors market trends as it relates to current and new offerings, as well as new market opportunities within Americas.
  • Responsibly maintain company owned assets which include vehicles, equipment, and computers
  • Gets to know competitors and their practices within the assigned region.
  • Determine customer satisfaction levels and work with internal resources factory to resolve problems or issues.
  • Actively participates in offered sales training and development programs to help them progress in their overall success and capabilities.
  • Supports the monthly Goal Deployment process and participates by presenting the insights discovered through analytics and assembling those insights into an actionable result.
  • Routinely maintains the company’s CRM / Sales Call Management System & Sales Reporting process.
  • Attends required/approved sales meetings, business meetings, and industry conventions.
  • Extensive Travel as required throughout your region, meeting with current and potential customers.
  • Perform other tasks/duties as assigned.
     

Team: This role will be a part of the Aftermarket Sales team reporting directly to the Director of Aftermarket Sales.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four to five years of experience in Business Administration or Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in an outside B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical or capital equipment sales industry.
  • Possess an active driver’s license free of any restrictions related to driving offenses and based on initial and annual driver MVR reviews as defined by our fleet policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Database software; spreadsheet software such as Excel; Word, and PowerPoint. Salesforce or other CRM Platform experience is a plus
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry including ability to read, measure, understand and use calipers, micrometer and/or other measurement tools with respect to physical attributes of components.
  • Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection-molding industry is a plus.

Travel: This role requires frequent to continuous traveling.
