PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing a group of employees within a professional setting. Their duties include relaying information between their team and upper management, guiding their team through daily work activities or projects and monitoring employee performance to ensure maximum productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Managing the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks

  • Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement

  • Performs assessment, documentation and organization of tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of organization’s supply chain to achieve the best and produce top quality results

  • Execute processes and provide recommendation on ways to improve processes and standards

  • Ensuring that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met

  • Analyzes work area program for deficiencies, develops and implements process improvements to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (i.e. Command Media)

  • Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles

  • Setting goals for workers and making sure they comply with the company’s plans and vision

  • Knowledge of Material Management, Warehouse Processes, and Inventory Management Systems (IMS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other designated tracking systems

  • Utilize skills, knowledge to analyze and evaluate Enterprise Inventory Management System (IMS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and provide reports or feedback assessment of Daily Performance Management Reports

  • Ensures Compliance with all Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH), Quality Assurance requirements, goals, policies and procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Skill using Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate level skills with MS Project or other project scheduling related software required.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.

  • Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.

  • Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely

  • Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.

  • Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.

  • Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies

  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to goals.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.

  • Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision

  • Ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or; High School Diploma or Equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a range managerial role

  • Previous government contracting experience managing a multi-million-dollar budget

  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
