Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of India, this individual will serve as strategic and operational partner to support the build-out and scaling of the India hub. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives and key results with execution, leading financial and operational planning, and ensuring accountability across teams. This role will collaborate with Business Operations Leads, Engineering, Product, Finance, HR and Portfolio teams to create and deliver reporting, sound financial management, to enable seamless deployment of projects and execution of strategies and data-driven decision support. Additionally, this role is integral to driving the delivery of key projects and ensuring cross-functional alignment for the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

● Partner closely with the Head of India to drive operational strategy, execution, and reporting for the India Product & Technology hub.

● Identify and distill critical information into easily presentable format

● Lead business operations for Product & Technology’s Bangalore office including budget management (CapEx and Opex) across FTEs, contractors, technology partnerships, and engineering infrastructure.

● Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of engineering and product teams, ensuring alignment with global standards and local needs.

● Partner with stakeholders to collect, build, and validate Long Range Plan, Annual Budget, and Quarterly Forecasts.

● Analyze cross functional portfolio to alignment with business objectives and budgets.

● Lead roadmap review with leadership, facilitate prioritization of cross-team initiatives with engineering leaders, collaborate with engineering architects to capture key requirements and plan strategic execution across departments

● Facilitate the prioritization of cross-team initiatives in partnership with cross functional leaders to ensure focused on high-impact work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

● Track and report on objectives, key results, and milestones for the India hub, supporting executive reviews and decision-making.

● Manage various reporting cycles across the department, to ensure timely information is collected, merged, filtered, and edited.

● Lead the definition process for team’s yearly and quarterly Objectives and Key Results and implement standardized tracking and reporting of progress.

● Partner with Business Operations Leads, ensuring the organization can adapt and respond to the evolving needs of Product Engineering.

● Lead key departmental communications and engagement ceremonies, including town halls and strategic updates.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training: Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioral attributes and/or leadership capabilities)

Basic Qualifications

● Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.

● Excellent communication and leadership skills, including presentation to senior executives

● Proven success supporting large-scale technology organizations, preferably in a global or distributed team environment.

● Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.

● Data-driven approach with the ability to use data to drive decisions and provide recommendations.

● Expertise with visualization tools, dashboards, internal tools, Excel, Smartsheets, etc

● Strong presentation and design skills; experience with Keynote, PowerPoint and internal collaboration sites (e.g. Confluence, Office365, etc.)

● Ability to work with engineering teams to discuss technical concepts, remove roadblocks, and make critical prioritization decisions.

● Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and change initiatives from idea through outcome

● Superb organization, detail-orientation, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance short and long-term work.

● Highly effective oral and written communication skills, ability to develop beneficial relationships and networks to achieve results.

● Proficiency with core Engineering tool suites, including JIRA, Wiki, Airtable, Smartsheets, Google Sheets, and/or purpose-built internal tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in the media, entertainment, or technology sectors.

● Familiarity with Disney’s products, platforms, and business processes.

● Experience supporting international expansion or new market entry.

● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
