How you will create an impact

  • Support TC and TF operations in Brazil.
  • Deliver financial and budgetary goals for the country.
  • Produce, underwrite, and manage the self-established portfolio in line with underwriting strategy and adhering to underwriting standards.
  • Execute strategic plans as agreed with the senior leadership.
  • Establishes a book of Trade Credit accounts and implements commercial action plan across business area. Identifying growth opportunities in the focus markets and execute joint with brokers and distribution teams.
  • Market credit insurance through a focused distribution system.
  • Consistently achieve growth and return objectives across area of responsibility – focus on Mexico.  Work together with all functions of the Trade Credit organization incl. Credit Officers.
  • Integrate and collaborate with the other Line of Business and functions at a country level.
  • Monitor market movements and refine adaptation of local business plans.
  • Supervise, train, and develop underwriting team and related departments.
  • Provide technical advice to underwriter community, credit analysts, brokers, insureds and claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings and applications.
  • Some travel required.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Studies in economics, actuarial, accounting and/or business administration.
  • High level commercial / sales expertise and broker relationship management, willing to provide sales support and business trips (focus on Mexico)
  • Proven experience in financial and balance sheet analysis.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate at C-level, ability to express clearly and precisely.
  • Willingness to make decisions, ability to work in a team, quick perception and good self-organization.
  • Proven portfolio analysis skills with broad knowledge of trade sectors. 
  • Good understanding of Trade Credit, wordings, processes and documentation
  • Proven business acumen and successful commercial career experiences
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Personal initiative, commitment, accountability, resilience, flexibility
  • Team player and motivated personality;
  • Good knowledge of English, knowledge of other foreign languages ​​would be an advantage.
