The Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team is part of Salesforce’s Corporate Strategy organization and partners with Salesforce Product executives to drive go-to-market execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our ever growing product portfolio.
We are looking for a Sr. Manager to lead our Business Intelligence organization as part of the GTM Strategy & Operations team. This person will be accountable for building and maintaining business intelligence tools and infrastructure, leading end-to-end strategic analysis and supporting strong operational cadences to achieve our quarterly objectives.
You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as product management, data science, pricing & packaging, finance, marketing, and others. We’re looking for data-driven leaders who have relentless curiosity, very strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail and ability to lead a highly talented team of analysts. The ideal candidate is a team-player and will collaborate with peers across the Cloud GTM Strategy team as well as senior product stakeholders to deliver scalable tools, business insights and help inform decision-making in the Product organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a team of 4 highly skilled analysts.
Define key performance metrics, build reports, dashboards and other scalable resources to derive insights into the health of the business.
Lead strategic analysis and deliver insights to support and progress key business decisions.
Partner with leadership to develop, implement and track business plans, including actionable recommendations.
Work across the broader product portfolio and Cloud GTM Strategy team to collaborate, learn and scale.
Interact with cross-functional groups at senior levels (e.g. Sales Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, M&A, etc.) to drive execution.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
8+ years at a high-growth tech company in a strategic sales/business operations role or at a top management consulting company with strong exposure to Go-To-Market/Product Strategy assignments.
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or another quantitative field from a Tier 1 university.
People management experience.
Advanced data exploration and analysis skills
Highly proficient in Tableau, Excel / Google Sheets
Proficient SQL skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency, ability to adjust on the fly to unplanned situations).
Passion for data, and analysis; comfortable working with large data sets
Comfortable taking the initiative to develop solutions for unstructured problems and communicate the results to key internal customers
