Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Project/Program Manager serves as a strategic program manager responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across multiple business units and technical teams. Operating with significant autonomy, this person ensures stakeholder alignment, removes organizational barriers, and drives decision-making at the working team level. Core responsibilities include managing complex strategic projects from inception through launch, establishing success metrics and business intelligence frameworks to track outcomes, and influencing functional leaders to ensure coordinated execution. This role enables the director to maintain strategic focus by owning the operational execution of key initiatives, identifying risks and dependencies early, and ensuring systems, processes, and communication plans support organizational readiness. Strong program management includes maintaining clear project documentation, driving crisp status updates across agreed channels, and preparing materials that support executive decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

This is a hybrid position that will be based in Atlanta, GA or Overland Park, KS. Candidate will come into the office 2 days/week.

  • Lead the development and communication of comprehensive product launch strategies. 

  • Manages complex projects requiring collaboration across multiple areas / groups with limited leadership support.  

  • Work effectively on multiple projects at one time. 

  • Serves as Program Manager for cross-functional project teams comprised of business and technical team members, driving decision-making and ensuring on time delivery of defined deliverables.  

  • Determines and coordinates sharing of leveraged resources among projects.  

  • Manages projects with complex business, operational and technical challenges.

  • Effectively communicate project status, impacts, and barriers to the executive team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years experience in a related field

  • Experience working within a dealership or knowledge of dealer operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot

  • Experience directing employees, contractors and consultants in a project team setting or cross-functional work environment. 

  • Experience writing, tracking and communicating detailed project plans. 

  • Experience in writing and/or reviewing business and technical specifications or other project documentation. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Exceptional listening and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment.

  • Proven track record of successfully owning and planning the full lifecycle of a product launch. 

  • Effectively communicate project status, impacts, and barriers to the executive team. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technology or automotive tech environment is a plus.
