Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr Test Engineer, this involves responsibilities for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Statistic's methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Fault Tree Analysis.
  Perform detailed investigations on failed components, assemblies, or systems.
  A.-5 whys (Drill down)
  B.-Ishikawa (samples)
  C.-Fault Tree Analysis
• Gather failure data from production lines, field returns, and test results.
• Document findings in detailed failure analysis reports.
• Conduct physical and chemical analysis using tools such as SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), X-ray, or spectroscopy.
• Perform mechanical tests (stress, fatigue, thermal cycling) to replicate failure conditions.
• Work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate English (verbal and Written).
• Experience in reading scripts.
• Test instrumentation experience.
• ICT / FT / 5DX management.
• Experience developing /modifies test programs using various languages (C#, Java, Lab View Perl, Python or others).
