Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring that all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. Will work to provide a positive patient experience while obtaining the information necessary to facilitate patient care and billing processes
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient access and registration 2-3 years required
-knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling experience
previous experience:
- working in a high-volume call center
-EPIC or other EMR
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
