About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager – VMware to drive business growth across a defined set of partners and accounts within a specialist technology domain.
You will be responsible for developing vendor business, managing mid-sized accounts, and translating strategic objectives into actionable plans. This role focuses on increasing market share, strengthening relationships, and driving pipeline and revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
• Manage and develop mid-size accounts to drive new business and maximise growth
• Increase vendor share of wallet and deliver against revenue targets
• Build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and profitability
• Create tailored value propositions aligned to customer business needs
• Drive pipeline development and large deal engagement
• Negotiate deals, pricing, and rebates while supporting commercial strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to grow market presence
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in the IT industry, ideally in business development, sales, or product marketing
• Good understanding of virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, and VMware solutions
• Experience working with IT vendors (VMware knowledge is a strong plus)
• Proven ability to develop accounts and grow partner relationships
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in an external-facing role
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
• Fluent English and Romanian
