Role Summary: The Site quality engineer will be responsible for ensuring top-quality standards in manufacturing processes, focusing on customer complaint management and internal audits. He will coordinate with the CSO & Plant teams to resolve customer complaints, conduct RCA, and implement corrective actions. The role involves conducting process and system audits, monitoring SPC, and addressing non-conformances. This position will ensure FG parts are stored correctly, perform yard audits, and test samples. Continuous improvement is achieved through CAPA audits and monitoring Poka-yoke controls. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, ISO 9001, excellent communication and presentation skills

Roles and Responsibility:

Customer Complaint Management

• Attend to customer complaints in coordination with the CSO team.
• Analyze complaints with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) from the plant. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions within the agreed timeline with the customer.
• Perform the timely QC inspection for the Customer sales return

Audits, Customer Inspection and Compliance:

• Responsible for preparations related to Customer inspection audit, BIS Approval, IAPMO NSF approvals, and maintenance of the approvals and certifications.
• Provide replacement samples and necessary documentation to customers as required.

Internal Process & System Audits:

• Conduct process audits as per the plan and address any gaps in the process.
• Ensure system audits as per Ashirvad IMS (Integrated Management System) are conducted as per the annual plan.
• Share audit reports with the CSO coordinator and ensure all non-conformances (NCs) are closed within the agreed timeline.
• Monitor critical parameters through Statistical Process Control (SPC) to maintain process control.
• Highlight internal issues related to product quality through NCR and analyze rejection rates.

Warehouse Quality

• Perform the Yard audit and ensure the storage compliance with respect to IS 7634 part 3
• Ensure FG parts are stored as per the agreed SOP and monitor the FIFO system. Pick random samples from FG and conduct testing as per the QA plan to ensure all parameters are within specification.

Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure continual improvement is planned for the plant to achieve zero defects in the process.
• Perform the CAPA sustenance audit and Monitor the functioning of Poka-yoke / engineering controls are working at all times as per the SOP.

Role Specific Competencies:

1. Candidate should have good understanding of all the concepts of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan and SPC.

2. Candidate should have a good understanding of ISO 9001 requirements.

3. Candidate should have good exposure to all manufacturing processes of Plastics pipes and pipe fittings.

4. Candidate will be accountable for the Quality of all the products manufactured in all the satellite plants.

5. Should be able to drive Zero PPM in house and customer.

6. Should be able to do RCA and CAPA to avoid repetition of the problems.

7. Should be a good trainer and train plant people on various quality concepts.

8. Accountable for Customer approval, BIS Approval, IAPMO NSF approvals, NABL Certification and maintenance of the approvals and certifications.

09. Execute all the SOPs get the desired Product Quality and on time delivery.

10. The Candidate should have Very Good Written and Oratory communication skills and should be master in presenting the data.
