Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet patrons attending events at each assigned entrance in a professional manner.

  • Accurately direct guests to restrooms and seats.

  • Scan admission tickets and passes from guests for each event.

  • Manage the checking in of will call and VIP guests. 

  • Assist guests with answering any event or facility related questions.

  • Work well with the rest of the team to ensure the best experience for our patrons 

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service.

  • Exceptional communication verbal skills

  • Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.

  • Safety Minded and able to follow and enforce safety protocols

Education and/or Experience

  • Previous work as an usher preferred

  • Experience working in the service industry a plus

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor

Working Environment/Conditions

  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time.

  • Position is not adversely exposed to elements

Hours of Work and Travel Requirements

  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Demands

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Handling objects, products, and scanning machines.

  • Must be able to stay in one location at either the entrance or exit of the venue for long periods of time and safely/efficiently move about the entire facility.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $17 per hour

Overtime Rate: Time and a half ($25.50 per hour); paid after 40 hours weekly.

Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law.
